About Robyn

Robyn Evans is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) and a member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers (OASW). She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Toronto and has over five years of experience supporting children (ages 5+), youth, adults, couples, families, and older adults. Robyn brings both clinical expertise and genuine compassion to her work, offering a relational, person-centered approach that emphasizes safety, trust, and feeling truly heard.
Robyn has worked across diverse settings, including nonprofit organizations, schools, and crisis services, supporting individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns and neurodiversity-related needs. Her practice is grounded in a holistic, trauma-informed lens that honours each client’s lived experiences, strengths, and capacity for growth. She supports concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, grief, trauma, self-esteem, life transitions, relationship challenges, and neurodiversity-related experiences. Robyn works affirmatively with neurodivergent individuals and members of the 2SLGBTQI+ community and also offers couple, family, and group support.

Robyn’s therapeutic approach is tailored to each client and draws from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, acceptance-based approaches, Gottman Method Therapy, Emotion Focused Family Therapy (EFFT), and play-focused interventions. She believes clients are the experts in their own lives and works collaboratively to build coping strategies, navigate relationship challenges, process experiences, and foster self-acceptance and compassion. Robyn is committed to creating a warm, non-judgmental space where vulnerability is met with care, empathy, and respect, and where healing can unfold through connection, understanding, and self-compassion.
