About Chelsey
Chelsey is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Master of Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Psychology from Trent University. With over 10 years of experience supporting children, youth, adults, and families, Chelsey has worked in educational and mental health settings. Before becoming a therapist, she spent many years as an Educational Assistant, supporting individuals with autism, developmental disabilities, behavioural needs, and complex emotional challenges. Those experiences continue to shape her approach to therapy and her belief that everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, and accepted.
Chelsey works with children (7+), adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), emotional regulation difficulties, self esteem concerns, stress, grief, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges. She also enjoys supporting neurodivergent individuals, including those with Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. She has a particular passion for working with individuals living with BPD and understands how overwhelming it can feel to experience intense emotions, struggle with self worth, or feel misunderstood.
Chelsey understands that reaching out for support can be difficult. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, navigating a life transition, or trying to better understand yourself, you do not have to face it alone. She strives to create a space where clients feel safe, supported, and comfortable showing up exactly as they are.
Chelsey believes therapy should feel like a genuine conversation built on trust, compassion, and honesty. She takes the time to get to know each client because she knows there is no one size fits all approach to healing. Together, you will explore what has brought you to therapy, build on your strengths, learn practical coping strategies, and work toward meaningful change.
Chelsey’s approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s unique needs. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Mindfulness, and trauma informed practices. Her goal is to help clients feel more confident, build resilience, and leave each session feeling supported, understood, and hopeful about the path ahead.
