Who We Serve
Vault Mental Health (VMH)® provides counselling and psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, families, and communities of all ages. We help you navigate through challenges, fostering healing and growth in a safe space.
Individuals
At Vault Mental Health®, we pride ourselves on our ability to create a
therapeutic bond that supports and enables client growth. Individual
counselling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and
behaviours, work through challenging memories, identify aspects of
their lives that they would like to change.
Using an integrated approach that includes CBT, Motivational Interviewing, ACT, mindfulness, and other evidence-based modalities. VMH® aims to
create a personalized approach for each client. With experience in
anxiety, mood disorders, depression, stress, relationship challenges,
anger management, self-esteem, parenting difficulties, life
transitions, trauma and abuse and more, we work with clients to meet
their specific needs and goals. Individual therapy helps clients
better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work
toward desired change and greater contentment in life.
Couples
If difficulties in an intimate relationship and efforts to resolve
them with your partner aren’t working, couples counselling is an
option worth considering.
With extensive experience using the Gottman Method, Vault Mental
Health seeks to incorporate evidence-based practices with a safe,
unbiased and non-judgemental space. Couples will feel confident in
open discussions that allow each individuals the space to feel heard
and safe. A therapist’s help, can support couples in finding some
common ground and end up in a stronger position to move forward
together in the relationship.
Children & Youth
Adolescence is one of the hardest times in a child’s life. They are
experiencing so many emotions, hormone changes, peer issues and
internal conflict. It’s important that children feel they have someone
they can talk to openly and trust.
Teenagers are creating an identity for themselves and learning where
they belong in their world; having someone to offer support during
this time is never a bad idea. Commonly, children and teens are unable
to communicate in words their frustrations to those closest to them
and parents will instead see an increase in troubling behaviours they
are unable to manage.
Families
When it feels like the issues in your family are too big for you to handle and aren’t getting better, it may be time to see a family therapist. Family counselling is ideal for families experiencing conflict due to a wide variety of reasons, Vault Mental Health® can help create a welcoming environment to openly discuss issues and come to a resolution. We can help you find new ways to manage struggles, conflicts, and challenges.
