Payments accepted are Cash, debit and credit cards are accepted. Payment is due at each session. Virtual and phone sessions require a credit / credit debit card on file for all booked sessions.

Vault Mental Health® offers direct billing to select private insurance providers and is happy to submit on your behalf to one provider per session. If your insurance company is not one we currently support for direct billing, we are unable to submit claims or receipts on your behalf due to variations in coverage policies. In these cases, a detailed receipt will be emailed to you within 48 hours, which you can submit directly to your insurance provider for reimbursement. Please note: Not all Vault Mental Health Therapists are eligible for direct billing. We strongly encourage all clients to confirm their coverage with both the administrative team and their insurer to ensure services provided by a Registered Social Worker (RSW) or Psychotherapist are eligible under their plan. Please note that psychotherapy and counselling services are recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) as a medical expense tax credit. Any fees not covered by your benefits plan may be eligible for reimbursement when filing your annual income tax return.

The short answer is, for as long as you wish! However, our job is to enable you to live your best life without us. Most people see symptom improvement after a few sessions, but deeper work can take longer. It all depends on the individual.

48 hours notice to cancel your appointment. Whenever possible, we try to offer reschedules based on your clinicians’ availability. Sessions cancelled less than 48 hours in advance, and no shows, are subject to the full fee being charged. To notify us of a cancellation, please email info@vaultmentalhealth.com or connect with your therapist directly via the client portal, provided by OWL.
